Swapping EE number from old phone to new phone

IoWHelpneeded

Please can someone help.

I bought my mum a new unlocked Samsung phone. I requested a new sim as the old sim was too big. Got new nano sim, added it to new phone.

How do I swap her old EE number on to new EE sim /phone?

OK thanks, @IoWHelpneeded.

You may need to speak to our Mobile Care team so they can transfer the number over for you.

Hi @IoWHelpneeded

Welcome to the community.

Is your mum on a pay as you go plan or pay monthly contract? Did you order a replacement SIM card or a brand new one with a new number?

Chris

Hello,

My mum is PAYG, I ordered a new sim from EE and put that in the new phone.

Many thanks

Thank you, The mobile care team are sending me a new nano sim with the old number already loaded on to it, and this will include the previous credit. I will remember this solution for future new phones.

I'm having the same issue, just received my S21 ultra, put the Sim in and it says not provisioned on the network, energy calls only.

Hi @Jimmyg1,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

Are you a new customer or did you upgrade?

If you upgraded, please continue to use your old SIM if it the correct size. If it isn't, you can activate the new one at myaccount.ee.co.uk/app/activate-sim.

Hope this helps.

James
