Hi

Can anyone advise on my issue .

Ive had my S10+ for over a year and it wont find any updates

Currently stuck on Android 9 and Security patch 1 from 2019

It simply says when you try " your software is up to date"

Any help or advice much appreciated

@Jaijai   Where did you get this device from ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

It came from Fonehouse.co.uk with  an EE contract and sim

Hi @Jaijai,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

I'd recommend reaching out to Samsung support. They'll be able to check if there are any updates available for your device.

@Jaijai   it’s not a EE supply device updates for that device don’t come from EE they come direct from the manufacturer .

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Done exactly tgat and it turned into a nightmare .just so others know if they have the same

Samsung advised using smart things app on PC and could offer no reason why it wouldn't get updated .It hadn't updated since new .

After downloading smart things i hooked up and sure enough it said you need to update

4 hrs later it says all done but there's another update ,it had went fro Android 9 to 10 and UI 1.0 to 2.5 .

So i go again 3 hrs later my phone bricks and goes into a never ending restart loop and a warning screen with 3 options

Try again

Erase all app data

Visit a store,  try again just looped the restart so it was erase all app data to get it to

Eventually  fire up using safe mode where i had to factory reset and re install again .

Sorry about the long winded answer but i hope it might help others .

Many thanks for all the replies ,its been a looonng day

Hi @Jaijai

Boot into safe mode and clear the cache, then restart and go to software updates.

It should work now.

Thanks
