I’ve just upgraded my phone to a much newer iPhone and the app is still showing the original device. The upgrade took place a week ago and despite my even deleting and reinstalling the app when connected to a cellular network nothing happens.
Clearly this is a non urgent issue more like a niggle actually but any useful suggestions would be welcome. It’s driving me mad lol ! 😱
Solved! See the answer below or view the solution in context.

@Paddydent If you’ve open the my EE app when connected to cellular data It’ll change on it’s own accord in due time. It’s only an image and it has no effect on your account. Annoying I know but it will correct itself.

Hi all. I’ve got all my mobile and fixed line communication needs in the EE basket so as to speak and I’m very happy with the service I receive BUT there is one thing that is driving me bonkers.
About four weeks ago I took out a second mobile contract and upgraded my existing handset.
Now the problem. How the heck do I update my device type in the my ee app and online ?
I’ve given it time;removed and reinstalled the app with both WiFi and mobile connections to no avail.
Whilst I know it’s trivial in the grand scheme of things as I say it’s driving me bonkers lol!
Any new advice anyone ??? 🤞

Hi @Rooney1,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Your device image in My EE will update automatically given time. It's purely cosmetic and doesn't affect any My EE features or services.
