Set password when starting my MOTO phone

I cannot make phone calls because the system is asking for a password that I have no knowledge of. I can receive calls but can go nowhere on teh phne. I have no menu and cant use internet on phone.

Help please

Could you try popping '1234' or '00000000'

How long have you had your phone and where did you purchase the Motorola?

I got the phone in September I think. Previously I had a Google phone. I
have put the sim card from the motorola into the google phone and it is
working okay.
This means that the motorola is faulty.
