I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Hi guys, some very interesting news after being messed around with my delivery 20+ times. I've contacted EE pretty much every day since my preorder on the 22nd Feb for the S20 Ultra 128GB Cosmic Grey and I've been told today there isn't stock, there is stock, there is stock etc...
Pretty much been promised delivery dates which haven't came true either however here's the interesting news.. I've spoken to the Tech team instead of Digital Care team (the standard live chat guys) and found out the S20 Ultra 128GB Grey has two Item ID's which shows one one item ID (older ID) with showing 2 in-stock currently and newer item ID (assuming newer item) however Paul at the tech team said this shouldn't be the case for any items at EE and is very confused to this hence why there is always with confusion at EE in terms of stock levels and promising delivery dates etc.
Good news is he is raised this with his on-site manager which will then raise it with whoever deals with orders / systems at EE and is using my live chat as an example of the issues with this preorders for the S20 ultra variant so he can showcase it in a meeting tomorrow to his manager. Sounds like someone has definitely messed up and he is said this will be passed down to all customers waiting on S20 ultra, not sure if he means by simply delaying your expected delivery dates but at least I know the reason finally after contacting EE every single day why there may be confusion.
Not great news still as I'm still a phone down until whenever I actually receive the phone but at least I know Paul will be dealing with the system issue.

Dont believe a word that they say,Top and bottom of this his they have taken are money and failed to deliver as promised letting there customers down and now coming out with ludacris stories... I certainly wont be pre ordering anything from them again

True mate, does feel a little like false information off EE in order to stall on their behalf. EE said they will get back asap with an update via email tomorrow so I'll see if they do... if not your most likely right.

I believe the changes to the order tracker (e.g. good news your order is coming soon) are automated. A new message every 7 days.
I'll be cancelling my.order if I can't get a clear picture tomorrow of when it should be coming. So at least there will be 1 more to go around you lot!

I'm doing same bud,expecting a call back about 12 tomoz....No guaranteed delivery date given it's being cancelled
