I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order
No response to my complaint as yet. I rang EE again with so many getting their phones today or monday and I was told my phone has been picked for a delivery slot so I should expect a message from DPD either later today or in the morning. I don't know what to believe anymore. The lad I spoke to was really lovely but so have a few of the others who have blatantly lied to me
@Klunkus Be patient? I've ordered on the 15th of February in a shop (512gb grey) and never heard anything untill the lockdown and my request to move it to home delivery.
Only 128gb units seem to be delivered, so it's not like it's only a matter of a few days for the rest are us.
same here. i pre ordered the 512gb version and it seems it is not being restocked at all compared to the others. disappointed, especially at lack of comms from EE. i feel for their support staff who get the brunt of the anger and frustration down the phones.
I am always very polite even if annoyed as I know it's not the call handlers fault. I do think the 'big bosses' are at fault though as they give them nothing concrete to tell us, which is where most peoples frustration comes from. A bit of honesty goes along way.
Well as much as I was determined not to, I folded, as my instore pre-order for the 512 was pretty much a wait until we open the stores again thing... so months ... but I can get a 128g ultra here tomorrow, and still get my buds. the 4gb extra ram may have been nice the potential wait wasn't going to be!!
@Doodle-s Did you just order the 128gb one?? I literally tried doing this about 45 mins ago and was told there also out of stock black and gray! They also told me before hand if I went ahead I would lose the ear buds from Samsung but could send me some direct from EE but they wouldn’t be buds + they would have been the old buds.
@Samantha89 I rang them about 5pm just to check what the status of my order was, I was told they could do it on line instead of the store but for the 512 they had no idea the date for delivery but I could have a grey 128 in two weeks or a black tomorrow...my original receipt for my pre order deposit is enough for the buds and they took payment for next day delivery so just waiting to hear from dpd.
I'm going to hold on for the 512gb ultra, I've found the inbuilt memory runs a lot faster than any SD card which is great for music and pictures, especially video, I've gotten used to that on my note 9 512gb. The extra ram will come in handy too 👍🏽
