I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

I went into my store today and had a chat and he has said they are sorry but they have been getting s20 ultra in and they are being sent out they havent got many and that's down to samsung not keeping up with the stock and was advised I'm looking at a minimum 20 day wait
Theres no issue with them being there just delivery to store and places due to covid 19 has cause alot of delay and the amount of pre orders
Big flagships have this issue all time apaz (1st time I've preordered)
I'm highly disappointed but I'm so glad my store didnt lie to me and was completely honest and said it's hard but nothing they can do at present but will keep me updated on any changes
I know ur all annoyed but they have been getting so much grief they are getting down trodden
Was nice to sit and chat to them in store just today they had over 30 ppl come in having a go they have to wait bare in mind ppl expected to order last possible date and still get it the 10th
I have no issues with EE and I wont be leaving just because of this I've been with them since orange and this is only problem I've ever had

No offence mate but the heat being directed at EE could have been avoided had they not given numerous reasons for the delays.
How hard would it have been for the higher ups in EE to send an internal communication to all colleagues stating the current supply issues and best ETAs for the devices?
I'm not overly fussed about the delay as it just means my bill will be lower next month but I can understand peoples frustrations if they are given a date and then EE can't provide a consistent message on why the device may be delayed.
My S20 was due tomorrow but no message from DPD. I won't bother calling EE for an ETA as I'll likely be told the phone was delayed because Thanos finger snapped the shipment container or some other BS.

Oh I completely agreed @5hIfTy that's y i went in I was fed up of being lied to over the phone in was given tuesday for my date so I was peeved!!
Omg I can just imagine it now that is brilliant and has creased me up!!!! Love it!

I've just rang them as I still dobt have a dpd delivery message even though it should be coming tomorrow. They told me no one has one as it's all due to the coronavirus causing havoc with deliveries etc......... sounds like bullsh!t to me

My order just updated to "Good news. Your order is coming soon" but still "Expected delivery date: Awaiting confirmation"
19 days (31st March) isn't exactly soon.
