I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

Both myself and my wife haven't changed Sims since the s7 range which was obviously 4g, in the phone settings go to connections/mobile network it should tell you you are on auto 2g/3g/4g and maybe 5g, but as I said so long as the SIM is LTE compatible there should be no problem.

@Bigdog1979 Don't be distracted by the talk of sim cards.
I mentioned I am only on 4G to highlight the fact that I can't test either of the two Ultras I have on 5G, even though I am in a 5G area with excellent 5G coverage.
When I get my new sim from EE on its 5G plan I will be able to test out the same issue in both 4G and 5G.

Ok was the SIM from 3 network?

Ah I get it now you're on a 4g plan and not 5g yet 👍🏽

Btw Brian at no point in my posts have I mentioned SIM size, not sure where you got that from 🤔 just that to get 5g you need a 5g plan from any given network due to them activating the higher frequency.

14 days and 21 days for new orders, depending on your choice of device.
Pre-orders will come before that.
