I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.
i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

1st let me start by saying, Kudos on the degree...
2nd: Exactly, this is what is annoying us the most... Throughout this whole fiasco... They have had it listed one minute, down the next, shown it as in stock and ready for dispatch on the business site e.t.c
But then if you ring them, they say "It's different stock" or "It's a mistake and will be changed when the site gets updated"
The site gets updated and nothing changes or it disappears again, only to reappear in a day or two.

@MissRoseGold I couldn't agree more. And it's.amazing how silent the EE reps are on here, there's no way they aren't seeing this. They certainly appear to be taking orders for things they haven't got, they are saying order now and we will deliver as soon as we get stock, but unless they are expecting a hell of a lot that isn't going to happen unless they again stiff those of us whose money they have had for months. Unless of course they know precisely what is coming in and when (and realistically, how could they not). I wonder if new customers are ngetting lied to and fobbed off the way we are?

There are apparently over 100 units sitting in my local EE store. Unsure if that's 128gb or 512gb though

@Bradley1873 All this just keeps getting more confusing...
EE really need to just come out with a statement and be honest about what's going on... Because all of this right now is ridiculous.

If there allowing people to pre-order a device they apparently and I quote "Have no idea if and when they will be getting in stock"....

All orders are subject to stock from the manufacturer and we're working with them to ensure we can fulfil orders as quickly as possible.
If you have placed an order in store, once your new phone is available, a member of our team will contact you to check if you’d still like to receive this and, if so, we will arrange sending this to you directly.
We have taken all of the phones out of our shops.

@Leanne_T this is all we ever get. I simply refuse to believe that a company the size of EE doesn't know where in the supply chain its stock is. If it's going to be another month or two months or whatever just tell us! Mine was an online order, not in-store, and there is just no communication

@Leanne_TThis isn't about frustrating because we are excited about a new device. That was a month ago.
This is about being royally pissed off by the treatment, the silence and lies we get from EE.
To this day no matter how many of us contact EE and how often we just can't get a straight answer or even really the same shady answer out of any of the people we talk to.

@WynterB I completely agree but can we please refrain from swearing?... Even tho I feel like doing it myself with how frustrating all this mess has got.
But let's face it, all it will lead to is you getting silenced/banned and us all missing out on a possible information source...
Right now, that's the last thing any of us need, that are all left in the dark.

@Staffie85 Considering what I actually wanted to write and how I feel about the whole thing and EE in general I was civil and ladylike.
