Samsung s20 ultra order

I upgraded my phone on the 5th march in a we store for a pre order Samsung s20 ultra and have heard nothing at all since. My current phone battery is failing rapidly.

 

i know there is a pandemic going on but what’s annoying me is why haven’t I heard anything at all about my order

How can you be sure there is no way they ran out.

 

You have no clue how many people ordered the Ultra or how many they received from Samsung.

 

EE couldve ordered 300 (let's say this for argument sake) but only received 100. This happens and is the case as if they received enough for pre orders everyone would have them now

They are not sent automatically as it isnt EE doing the promotion. You claim from Samsung.

Brendon, there saying they have no stock but they can't view stock then how do they know if they ran out? Honestly, I get that they may be stock issues, I'd rather them be straight up from the start and say I will receive it late rather than giving many people false information...

 

Saying I'd receive something on that day and then to find out I won't constantly is like a  game, constant back and forth.

I have spoke with 3 different agents over this today, and all I got is it can take 2-3 days when I get it delivered, it’s to do with DPD then passed on to another agent telling me a different story. They don’t have a clue when any of us be getting them as of yet,? Offered £10 credit? after been misinformed by tiwari (agent) it be today I will get it. 
why processed an order then not tell you over phone but ten minutes later a message pops up by EE that I won’t be getting it and they don’t know when it will be. Not happy! 

I spoke with executive agent (Matt) and all he said go complain to ombudsman if I ain’t happy. Nice!!!  

I was told on the phone when I ordered on the 19th of Feb that I would be getting it between the 10th and 13th. I've spoke to someone who said they couldn't tell me and I spoke to someone on the chat on Monday that I would receive it after the 28th of March. I'm debating whether to cancel my order because no doubt people will be walking into stores on Friday and buying theirs then. 

Not good!! I could understand if I was told it’s preordered phone, but the agent was offering good deals on Samsung’s when I was torn between iPhone 11 pro but he said they’re out of stock on all iPhones and I’d be better off with Samsung S20’s ultra instead and it’s not as expensive comparing to iPhones. Easily persuaded as I was, then he said delivery will be Thursday I asked for it before and he said tomorrow is the earliest and was granted that. 
If I knew I had to wait for a few weeks for this phone I would’ve got something else. I’ve read on here somewhere that iPhones was in stock From yesterday as well. That’s made my blood boil 

No updates whatsoever on DPD!

Very good point, I might be cancelling mine if I don't receive by Friday.

Hi all.

 

The launch date is March 13th, but customers who pre-ordered before midnight on March 8th may receive their delivery up to three days early.

 

This is subject to the stock we receive from the manufacturer, and we will fulfil pre-orders on a first-come, first-served basis.

 

DPD will contact you when the delivery is ready to be dispatched.

Awaiting confirmation since I pre ordered on the 5th march nothing has changed from that.
