I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.
Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

There was I thinking this thread would fizzle out after we all received our phones! (hope you are all enjoying the Z Fold 2 as much as I am) But great news and a well deserved pat on the back (or elbow these days!) for all the effort you and many others have put in to be compensated.
It's also restored faith in EE customer services, as this is a very good compensation offer from them. My guess is that Samsung was made to cough up too!

I hadn't received any advice of the offer of compensation via text or email as yet so this was the first I have heard of it. Rang EE just now to see if they could advise or send an email as suggested and the guy didn't have a Scooby. Literally no clue. Will give it a few days and live chat them instead!

Just to check... I assume you did order the phone before launch day? Was this online or over the phone?

I ordered it online as a pre order. Placed my order 8th of September. So I'd assume I'm in the same boat as the others who are going to be in recept of the credit and buds?

Absolutely you are entitled to the compo. There's plenty of evidence in this community thread to show any EE customer service agent you speak to. I am certain you will hear from them soon, if you have any issues post it here.

I mentioned to the rep the open forum regarding the fold 2 and didn't seem overly interested by it. Ill keep an eye out for it and hope. Cheers 🙂

Just been on to ee apparently 3 managers have no clue what I'm on about and despite getting an email for dpd to deliver Monday I've nothing dispatching on my account. Told them it was on their ee Community forum to be told its not true and they can't find the thread!

I suspect it will be like back when EE gave people who pre-ordered the iPhone X a pair of Beats headphones. They will ship them without it being listed on your account.
