I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.

Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product

Thanks

I've had my pre-order placed since the 3rd of Sept, last update from EE was...

"Good news. Your order is coming soon" on 17th Sept.

I echo the sentiment here for sure- I was really excited for this device, now I'll just be relieved when it's here... And seeing what those that ordered directly from Samsung are getting (£50 credit and free Samsung Galaxy Buds) makes me want to scrap my order from EE entirely. Such a shame.

Yeah I'd like to second that as well. The pure joy and excitement is almost gone. I've already got the buds live AKA beans so a free paid wouldn't really be too useful to me but I do hope EE offer some sort of compensation for us preorder users

All...

Spoke to sales team to get an update....again take it with a pinch of salt.......Been told that they are expecting stock today and to be delivered over the course of this week.  Been explained of the usual stock delays etc.  Explained to them no real clear comms had been provided. She didn't really have much else to say but you can tell she hasn't been fully informed of the situation either

Don't know whether that is true...but thought I'd give you an update of my experience today

Congrats ee....you've just lost another customer......

Again...screenshot

I'm thinking about cancelling too. I have three more phone contracts with EE too but once they come up for renewal they will be cancelled. Total shambles

I've just been told Friday will be the earliest we will find out anything
regarding the devices as it's going to take EE a week to let their valued
customers know that there is stock issues

Going to get stick for this:

I have ordered the Fold 2. To be fair. I didnt do it weeks ago as I was second guessing myself. I only stepped up to the plate friday morning 9am. Regardless. I'm NOT un happy, dissapointed or ready to cancel anything. I'm spending the same money as others. Paid upfront, waiting isnt going to kill me (or you lot.)

Maybe... just maybe we should all calm down and stop badgering these humans, these nice people at EE. More than likely getting 100's of calls a day from angry people that don't have thier phones.

Patients is a virtue. And i guarantee that we (me included) are not paying for the new cost of monthly contracts until the phones get delivered anyway.

The point is... Thanks EE. Keep up the good honest hard work and I hope to see my new phone when ever it arrives. Without giving any of you any grief whilst I wait patiently because I am a sensible adult.

@Masher75

You have 3 other contracts. I have 8 which when they are due for renewal will not be renewed.

Just with you and I alone that will be a considerable amount per month they will be losing  and from what I've seen since the thread started, we are not alone.

@RAITH22 The issue is 0 communication for those who had brought on pre-release.

No information about a delay, lies about not having stock and a "first come first served" basis.

The wait is only part of the issue, the communication, or lack there of is the main part why everyone is so frustrated.
