I have pre ordered the fold z and had conflicting information from EE, such as the 18,21 September and we have no date so no one should be giving out a date is what I have been told.
Do we have a confirmed ee release date as to when I will get my product
Thanks

@ChemicalDan no, nothing! Just been reading the Samsung thread and they're getting free buds and £50! They were told the stock in UK was damaged in transit 🤔 their customers have been told 23rd for black and 2nd oct for bronze. Ill let you know if I get an update peeps dont worry !

Yeah i did see that compensation they were offered, but please correct me if I'm wrong, didn't they buy them outright on that website? Not a contract?
Im not saying we shouldn't be entitled to anything, as I will be claiming my contract days back that I've missed from this delayed.
"damaged in transit" ? Thats a new one haha.
Ive ordered black so got some hope 😉

Hi everyone,
I've just got off the phone to a nice man at Samsung UK.
He checked with his logistics department and they stated that they have stock at their distribution centre in the UK, however they are working at a minimum level with transportation due to Covid, and that is the reason why EE etc do not have any stock.
He said they are doing the best they can but cannot say as to when EE will receive the stock.
Not great, but at least its better than the answers from EE

@EPresley68 at least a respectable and understandable response. Thanks mate
Very disappointed that's EE can't say anything along them lines. It's not like we are not going to understand something like that as we are all aware of the conditions within the current climate. The communication had been poor to say the least

Not sure how much we can believe Samsung either. Got a housemate who works for a rival delivery company and she said that all their lorries are running as usual. Its only the warehouse staff which are in some cases not enough.
I mean its still more of an update than EE, but I'm just struggling to believe anyone at this point.

I totally agree, however EE are obviously of the mindset "When in doubt, say nowt".
They just dont want to look foolish yet again on a pre-order, therefore they take the 5th 😉
