I recently upgraded 3 contracts to the samsung A21s. My dad has come home from work and cannot turn his phone on, he has barely used it today so it shouldn't of ran out of battery.
I have so far tried holding the power button down, i've placed the phone on charge but still nothing happens, is this a frequent problem with the phone? What else can i try?

Hi @AintItFun,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
Does the phone indicate it is charging when plugged in?
Can you force it to restart by holding the power and volume down buttons for 30 seconds?

Thank you for your responce @James_B
There was no indication it was charging when plugged in but i can happily say the force reset did work! 😄

The forced restart didn't work for me. Any other ideas?

Nothing. Just black screen. Charged it yesterday and did system upgrade. Won't switch on this morning. Had online help chat and a new handset is being despatched.
