SIM card can’t be assessed - can’t make calls!!!

Just tried to make a call and it says ;

 

SIM card can’t be assessed. To contact network provider to receive a PUK code.

@PMDS101 : You'll find the PUK, to unblock your SIM after too many incorrect PIN attempts, in your online MyEE under Account Settings / Unlock your SIM.

I am now able to. However, when I follow the advice from @XRaySpeX - I get this message below. However, I don’t have a new device. I can’t can’t call the number given

If you're unable to do this in your My EE Account, I'd recommend calling the number provided so our Customer Care team can help with this.

Thank you- Although I am on here as I unable to call the number as my sim is locked. I would have of course gone via that route if I could have. 

I have now contacted an agent using the EE chat facility and it’s now resolved.
