Repair refunded?

My phone is currently with the repair centre, I was given the option to pay for it to be fixed or for it to be returned unfixed. I chose fixed and paid the money 5 days ago but today I have had the money refunded, with no reason why?

 

Has anyone had this happen or know why this could be?
