ALREADY CHARGED BUT BILL DOUBLED

Bethany29
Visitor

A direct debit was taken out of my account on the 23rd of November and another on the 31st. One was refunded but apparently EE took it as me not paying by bill at all so now it’s twice what it should be for the month and says it’s overdue payment so my number has been suspended

Hi @Bethany29 ,

Was the refund initiated by EE or by yourself and the bank?

Sounds like EE tried to take your DD on the 23rd but it was bounced by your bank as lack of funds. So EE tried again a week later as they do & this time it was passed. That counts as a late payment with a consequent charge of £7.68.
