Hi. apple 8 latest IOS. Received an EE message stating I’ve been sent an MMS video. Logged in and clicked view button. Just goes to blank screen with an arrow in the centre with a line through it. What am I doing wrong? Thanks for help.

@PaulBurke , In settings, click on messages and check whether mms messaging is on, see if that solves the problem.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

Thanks for that. MMS was switched on and still unable to retrieve. I tried switching it off and on and restarting phone. Still the same arrow with line through it.

Hi @PaulBurke,

Are your other contacts able to send you MMS messages successfully?

Thanks

James

Hi James. I have not had a problem before. The person who sent my the video clip sent one The day before and I received direct to my phone without having to go through the convoluted process of reviving a text to say ide received an MMS and then having to log into my EE and then receive a separate passcode to access. For some reason the second clip has gone to EE and I have to logon with a passcode. However, when I login and click on the file it goes to a screen that says click here to view. I click and the arrow with line appears?

Hi @PaulBurke,

It looks like the message has failed to upload correctly.

Could the sender try to resend the message?

Thanks

James

Thanks James. A simple solution. Why didn’t I think of that!  Thank you.
