Hey guys i ordered a new contract phone on saturday and it has taken my upfront cost out of my bank and i recieved a confirmation email but have since recieved no tracking details about the phone and if my order has been fully completed, any chance anyone can help?

I have the exact same issue. Upgraded my contract for a new phones on Saturday and received a confirmation email but still waiting On any kind of message/email to tell me the phone has been sent.

I'm glad you have both received your confirmation email. This means your order has been processed by our team and it shouldn't be long for delivery.
You can track your order online with the order number in the email and your email address or phone number.
You will also receive a text from DPD the day before your delivery to let you know your device is on the way.
If you can both get back to me with the make, model, colour and size variant of the phones that were ordered, I can check the stock levels for you and estimated delivery.

So update, I phoned 150 and had it sorted within a few minutes. Phones coming tomorrow. I’d suggest you give them a call also 👍🏼

with this being my first contract with EE will that means it will take longer to arrive?

No, it shouldn't take longer because you are a new customer.
DPD will send you a text as soon as your delivery slot is confirmed.
