Hi
i am currently abroad and haven’t used my payg sim for about 6 months. I am now getting the sim not provisioned message. I have tried to start a live chat to take the sim out of hibernation but cannot see the start a convo button. Any other way apart from calling from abroad?
thanks

@Rabz1234 : Sounds like it has gone into hibernation.
When did you last use it for a chargeable action? EE PAYG SIMs are deactivated after 6 months of non-use. You then have a further 3 months to call EE to reactivate it before it is lost completely.
You needed to make a chargeable action like making a chargeable call or text, topping up or buying a Pack or Add-on, not just using your mins, texts or data from your pack.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Hi @Rabz1234
That message means your number is dead. It will be unlikely it can be recovered.
If you look in @XRaySpeX signature there is a free phone number you can try and maybe EE will be able to help.
Lastly if reactivated you may need to be on the EE UK network.
Thanks
