Have you claimed under the insurance policy which covers your phone and the indicated timescale for its replacement has been exceeded?
Has the insurance provider given any indication as to why the replacement is later than the indicated timescales in the policy documents?
I guess in principle, if your insurance policy cover the pro rata lost service time, you could claim for a reimbursement of that amount of service that you cannot use. If no such cover is included in any insurance policy that you hold, then you carry the risk of that shortfall in coverage.
