Hello,
I recently cancelled my phone contract as it was cheaper to pay off the remaining balance than it was to carry on with the remainder of the contract. Since doing this I have gone onto a sim only plan which offered me a better deal than my old contract did.
I received a notification that a bill was due to be paid but it was for my sim only plan and I have made my first payment in full.
How do I pay off my cancellation fee since my account was closed and a new one has been opened using the same number? When I contacted EE by phone I was informed that my information had not yet updated.
I have my old account information but no way of knowing when it is due to be paid or how to pay it.
Can you help?

Yes, both the old & the upgraded contract for the same mobile no. will be on the same bill.

Assuming you're not on direct debit then the cancellation fee will need to be pain unless you've already paid it.
Thanks

@Northerner Thank you for your reply, I rang EE and the balance has been paid when I paid my latest bill. Relieved that that's done with and I don't have to worry about that anymore.
