Ordered new iPhone 11 a week ago but no delivery update

I ordered an upgrade to iPhone 11 last Monday (25 Oct), received an order number and payment has been taken.

 

But I've had no confirmation of when delivery will take place via text and when I track the order online it just says 'order confirmed' with 'awaiting confirmation' for delivery date.

 

Could it be that the phone is out of stock? What else could be causing the delay? Thanks!

@adam_drury  What iPhone 11 storage size ?

colour ? 

all colours except green 64Gb are expect delivery in more than 28 days 

green is usually dispatch within 7 days

all colours except yellow 128Gb are expect delivery in more than 28 days

yellow is usually within 7 days

 

All colours 256 Gb out of stock.  You’ll probably not get this device as it’s no longer produced.
