I've ordered a pay monthly phone this morning and haven't received a order number for it.

Did you do it over the phone or online? 

Online you usually get an email confirming it.

Over the phone they said I would get an email but it didn’t come so I called up a day later and they gave me the number.

Might be worth calling back up.
