Orange motorola V3

Thepirate
Explorer

I have recently powered up an old motorola V3 and found some photos of a few people who have passed away ,The Photos in question are stored on the phone not the sim card I've found another old orange sim card and inserted it and the phone just says not registered, I tried another companies sim and it said to contact provider, I assume that means it's locked to orange.

. If I get a pay as you go sim from EE would the sim work in the phone and would I be able to fully unlock the phone with a PUK code

@Thepirate   You can get the device unlocked but you’ll need to know the phone number that was used in this device to get it unlocked for free and if you don’t know that you’ll need to pay £8.99.   A EE sim will

not work in the device until it’s unlocked from the Orange network.

A PUK code is to unlock a sim when the sim pin has been entered wrong to many times it’s doesn’t unlock a phone.

Please have a read of THIS about how to unlock that device.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Thepirate,

Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂

If you just need to transfer the photos to another device, have you tried using Bluetooth?

Thanks

James

It's old school and only used the bluetooth for hands free
