Hello I have swapped from Android to Apple and activated my new Sim - checked that my number is correct and turned iMessage off and on as instructed - but I am still receiving replies from my mom on my old phone (with old sim) which are sent from my new Apple phone. Do I need to phone EE or can anyone help with this? It only seems to be texts from my mom btw?

Hi @Sefo1968
Thanks for coming to the community.
Do you receive the message to both phones?
Is your old phone and SIM still showing an EE signal?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.

Hey Leanne thanks for responding - I only receive the message reply to my old phone and there is no EE signal to my old phone (only WiFi). It only seems to be the messages coming from my mom's number?

Hi @Sefo1968
Could you try turning WiFi off and see if you receive the message to your new SIM?
Leanne.

Hello Leanne texts seem to be coming through now thank you, but my mom is receiving a message saying I'm offline and send SMS only. Do I have to change any setting?

Hi @Sefo1968
Can she call you?
Is this a text message or a message using a third party app?
Could you also try restarting both phones and try again?
Thanks 🙂
Leanne.
