Number port seems to not have worked

Hi, 

 

How long should it take to port my old BT Mobile number to EE, after it's the same company.  I put the BT PAC code in the new SIM order and here we are more than 48 hours later and still no port and the phone is still using the number it was supplied with.

I would have expected your number transfer to have completed by now.

 

Please get in touch with Customer Care so we can make sure your PAC code has been successfully received.

There is some guidance on the timescales for a incoming number port on this EE help article , under the heading "How long should it take"?

 

Which day did you submit your PAC, and when did you do it?

Got the PAC off of BT on Monday morning and completed the order with EE Monday lunchtime.  New SIM arrived Tuesday morning, so I would have thought it would have ported by now.

It finally ported over this morning.  I guess coming from BT to EE is extra slow as it's the same company.  But finally sorted and I can now dump my BT account.
