Number Porting from BT

I received my new sim today and have just set it up in my phone. As part of the initial sign up on the website I entered the PAC code given to me from BT and the number I wanted to port. I tried to fill in the number porting form on the website but it doesn’t like him the PAC code.
Will the number porting process just happen automatically now I’ve activated my SIM card and I don’t need to fill out the website form? Did it not like my PAC code on the website as it possibly been activated already when I initially signed up?

I would recommend calling EE C/S on 150 to check the status of your specific port-in request.
