No data available and unable to gift data

I am currently abroad. My ee app shows I have no data although I am on a 160gb plan. This means I am unable to even gift data.

 

Any solutions?

Are you on a virtual sim? Is your 160gb not up at all on your account? I may be wrong but gifting data is on an add on/ swappable so if that’s not on your account then you can’t gift. Also they have a cap of 100GB per month on gifting

I have the same problem, please help me resolve this, I am on unlimited Internet, text and calls, I can gift 80% which I am trying to gift to my duaghter on a WiFi mini device. Please help as I can't call and there is no email

If your outside the UK when your tariff cycles for the following month you can not gift data.  

You will not be prevented from gifting data when travelling, unless your allowance refreshes while you’re away. In this case you will have to wait until you return to the UK to be able to gift again.”
