If it's for a new phone, order a replacement SIM online with the same no., plan & if applicable, credit at Order a replacement SIM for £1.50. Otherwise phone CS for one. It will come as a Combi-SIM with all 3 sizes as push-outs.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Hi @SL86

If your existing SIM won't fit whatever new phone you want, then @XRaySpeX  has given you the correct answer.

But there's no such thing as a "3G SIM" or a "4G SIM", there's just an EE SIM which is capable of working on all radio technologies. So if you have a working SIM which will fit in a 4G-capable device and is on a 4G-plan, then you should be able to use 4G services.

It's the plan & device you have that restricts which networks you can use, not the physical SIM.

But could you say that was true for v. old EE SIMs, as the OP says he has, or, in the extreme T-M & Orange legacy SIMs?

Bearing in mind that the "EE" brand was launched to coincide with 4G services, I'd like to think it holds, yes.

How old is very old, if you are on an old Orange or T Mobile Contract you won't be able to order any replacement Sims or make Changes to your Contract without upgrading to a now EE Contract but still retain your Number.

It’s a t mobile sim

very very old actually stated on the sim 3g

Your best option is to ring Customer Services on 0800 956 6100, and stress that your a loyal long term Customer on T Mobile and see what SIM Only deals they can offer you if you upgrade to a EE 4/5G Plan.

As said though, you can't make any changes to your T Mob Plan now, so once you leave your T Mob that's it, there is no turning back, same applies if you lose your SIM Card, it won't get replaced.
