Hi i am wanting to link up my iwatch 6 to my iphone so i can use my iwatch if leave phone at home my account says i am unable to add an additional phone line to my account but im thinking if i get a pay and go sim would that work that way at all? For my iwatch??

@Tyson27 No it wouldn’t work. You need to be a contract customer to have an Apple Watch tariff and you set this up via the watch app on the phone. it’ll cost £7 per month and you’ll get 10Gb data just for the watch all calls/texts come from your phone tariff allowance.

What model iPhone is it that you have got and also was the iPhone got on pay monthly
or is it currently getting used on a sim only contract?
I will point out, that the ability to connect the Apple Watch to the mobile network (so you can use it when your iPhone is at home like you are wanting to do). Is only available if the iPhone is on either pay monthly or is getting used on a sim only contract.
