Ordering an EE SIM as a foreigner

Kapelione
Visitor

Hello.

I’m going to stay in the UK as an international student for one year. I found an excellent plan here on EE. However, I’m stuck at the checkout because it requires a UK number. I’m coming from what is carefully called the “rest of the world”, so my number is just not suitable.

I’d like to order this SIM to my staying place in the UK beforehand. Is it possible to do online without a UK number, or should I visit the local office with my ID (or something like that) to officially register first?

Thank you.

@Kapelione   This would have to be a PAYG (pre Pay) as you wouldn’t pass the credit check for a contract sim.    It’ll probably be best to visit a store to get the sim also.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
