I had an old SIM card in an old phone with a really cheap plan. My daughter has just given me her old iPhone 7 so she helped me upgrade my plan to something better, get a new sim that would fit in an iPhone and also keep my old mobile number. I upgraded my plan on the 23rd of May and then had to separately get a new SIM card to fit in the iPhone. The sim came in the post and I put it in and set up the phone but my number is not on it and I’m still receiving calls on my old phone with the old sim. Also when I checked my plan on My EE, it’s still on the old plan with hardly at GBs. I had a monthly contract payment for the old plan come out on the 3rd of June even though I upgraded my plan on the 23rd of May. Sorry for the lengthy explanation, would like some help please. Do I have to wait until the plan starts? Is there something I’ve missed when setting up the sim? Does anyone know what I should do about the fact that my number is still only working on my old phone and it seems I’m still on my old plan on My EE? Please help! Thank you

Hello @harrie4 ,
Welcome to the community,
Did you request a replacement SIM card or request a new SIM card?
If it is a replacement SIM card, then you can activate it here:

@harrie4 You are welcome, thank you for letting me know, and that you got it all sorted. There should be no problem, you may have to reboot your phone for it to work, though.
