New phone order tracking

I bought a new phone from ee.co.uk on Friday and was informed it would be delivered on Monday. No phone. No tracking details. No information is available.
Why such a claim to take my money and business, and now nothing? Why have a tracking website feature if it doesn't work?
I'm starting to worry about my choice of EE.
Is there anyway I can find out the status of my new phone?

it looks like there is an inability to deliver to a delivery address despite confirming on my receipt a delivery address
now I'm getting told it got returned because no-one accepted it at my billing address.
is this ee in general, or am I lucky?

so now I'm told that my new account will be shut down unless I can get to a store, (15 miles away) and collect a phone before that happens, despite the next appointment being next week
the store doesn't have the phone I ordered, but hey
