I've had a message on my Oppo this morning saying New carrier settings and apps available, Carrier V004. You need to download and restart. All of this seems legitimate and not suspicious, but I've now downloaded the update 6 times and restarted 6 times but the message still keeps appearing! Whats going in? Any help how to stop this would be appreciated as it's still sat on my phone to be done again

Hi @Barry45.
Welcome to the EE Community.
Is the message coming through as a text or as a notification on your phone?

Hi Jon,
This is a notification rather than a text message.
You carry out the download and restart and the message continues to appear.
It's very frustrating.

Hi @Barry45
It may be worth backing up all of your information and restoring the phone to factory settings.

Many thanks all,
Last night I turned off my WiFi calling, put the phone in airplane mode and powered down for the night. When I've turned it on this morning I no longer have the message!
No idea how this has stopped it but at least it's gone.

Oh no, @Barry45
Could you try the full backup and restore that I posted above? Hopefully it'll fix this.
