I won’t be home when DPD deliver my phone tomorrow… can my partner take delivery of it ? I can leave him my driving license as proof it’s the right address
It’s my daughters Christmas present and dpd have already messed up delivery once !

Hi @Frazzled1

Welcome to the community.

Your partner can only sign for the delivery if they have the same surname and their own ID.

If the delivery fails, DPD will organise a re-delivery with you.

He doesn’t have the same surname as me but we do live at the same address and he has his own ID?

On certain types of orders, proof of ID is required, @Frazzled1. You should be notified by text message if that's the case. Did you receive one of those texts?

If proof of ID isn't needed, he can sign for it. If proof of ID is needed, then I'm really sorry, but the rules I posted above apply.
