My bill got returned by direct debit due to low funds as I didn't get paid until the day after it come out does ee try and take the payment again or do I have to contact them and make the payment over the phone

Hi @Mouse88 Yes, you should contact EE as soon as possible and pay. They won't try and take the DD again if it's failed.

Yes they do, however this doesn't reflect well on you, should you need to upgrade or additional EE products, if you default on your bill. I suggest you call CS and move your payment date to after you are paid.

We usually try again after 4 working days. However, as mentioned above, if you would like to settle this straight away, give our customer service team a quick call.

You should be OK. They'll try again once. See What should I do if I can't pay my bill?
Failed or late payments If your bank doesn't allow the Direct Debit payment, we'll make a second attempt around nine or ten days later. If this fails again, and you haven’t made a payment by any other method, then we’ll have to apply a late payment fee and cancel your Direct Debit.

Hi. I am unable to call we as I have just swapped over to a new network and have my last bill to play. I had a returned payment from DD on the 11th and they have not tried to retake it. When will this happen as I have tried to call to settle it but I was not able to get through ?
