Had deals for iphone 12 pro and pro max for around 60-70- pounds that have now disappeared a month after my contract ended - is that a thing or is it a Black Friday increase :).

Probably moving to apple now or O2

Do you lose all your upgrade deals one month after your contract ends even if you're still paying full whack ?

Hi there @jslatty

Thanks for coming to the community.

Offers and promotions can change on the EE Shop.

Do you have any phones and plans showing within your My EE account > Upgrade?

If you would like to discuss your options, please get in touch with Our Mobile Care team they will see what is available for you.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

That's where it showed me lots of good deals around 60-70GBP for a month after my contract finished - then on Black Friday the offers all increased to 80+

It's all 28 day delivery now so I'll move to SIM only and look again at all my options after XMas.   I'm with Sky on everything else so easiest to move to them or buy from the apple store.

Just be aware that there are only 4 mobile network operators in the UK - EE, Voda, O2 & 3.

Sky Mobile is what's known as an MVNO - a "virtual network operator" who piggyback onto one of the 4 MNOs - sometimes with restrictions when compared with their host network. Sky currently use O2.

This may or may not be an issue for you, but just one to be aware of.

"EE, Tesco and Vodafone will reduce monthly prices for out-of-contract customers. However, the amount of savings will vary between networks and no definitive amount has been confirmed."

Well that was a bare faced lie

Please see EE end of contract notifications :

"We want to make sure we provide a fair deal to all customers. If you previously took out a handset with us as part of your original deal and you’ve been out of contract with us for 3 months, we’II offer you a 10% discount, on top of all other discounts like Friends and Family."

I don';t care about contract details - mines finished - I'll be on the phone tomorrow for a huge moan and if i don't get what I want I'll cancel straight away.

I paid 90+ per month for years - now I'll pay nothing or switch and I do moan when I start.  All they had to do was leave me with the deals I had
