I switched from virgin media to EE because virgin was really slow but for about 4 months my Wi-Fi hasn’t been working in my room , in the kitchen , or in the other rooms except the living room and the bedroom on the first floor it’s been really slow on all the devices and I need some help!

@LIzzyjackson  Have you just tried switching it off for 30+ seconds and then back on ?

Hi @LIzzyjackson ,

I would recommend looking into powerline adapters with in-built WiFi access points. You can select from the Devolo dLAN (minimum "550+" for the WiFi access point), Magic-1, or Magic-2 depending on budget. Other brands are available.

I've found that my most recent Virgin Media hub and BT Smart hub had exceptionally good range compared to other devices used in my previous property and your current device may have inferior range which powerline adapters could help cure (if you purchase online, you should be able to return if you are not satisfied).

The slowness you report could be an independent issue or might be related to the WiFi issue. Powerline adapters would help separate the effects (as would a wired connection to the router to eliminate the WiFi involvement). Good luck!
