Mobile broadband

Hello

I currently have a pay as you go mobile phone in the car. It's used to provide WiFi in the car and to feed data to my TomTom device.

I'm thinking of getting a 4g WiFi device instead. If I did, would I be able to use my current phone SIM card or would i need a new data SIM card?

Thanks

David
