Hi everyone, I recently got an iPhone 11 and ever since I have had issues with my mobile data, it works when the phone is stationery however whenever I start slow walking or driving etc or just disconnect from a wifi source, my data goes to ‘E’ and then doesnt come back to 4G for a long period of time. When 4G does finally load its also quite slow. Ive tried everything I can, device reset, reset network settings, flight mode on/off but nothing seems to be solving the problem. Any help would really be appreciated, ive recently also downloaded and installed the new ios in the hope the problems would be fixed however im still having the same issues.

Hello @DomTee
First thing's first - is this only in one area or different locations? The more areas affected, the more likely it is to be a device fault rather than network issue.
Second, and especially if it's in one specific location - check on the faults checker for any known issues.
How long have you had the phone, and where did you get it from?

Hi, yeah its multiple areas, im based in Sheffield and there are no known issues at my postcode however when I travel to work I also experience similar issues and most recently this weekend I was in the Nottinghamshire area and was also having issues with my data - the signal on my phone is relatively consistent however the mobile data sparingly works. Im starting to think it could potentially be the device, thanks

Hi and welcome to the community, @DomTee
Thanks for checking the network status checker.
What does the estimated coverage show for those areas on our coverage checker?

Hi Chris,
The coverage checker says great outdoors and good indoors however this doesnt appear to be the case for me. Turning flight mode on and off seems to get 4G working momentarily but at a really slow pace and then as soon as I start walking with the phone, it either goes back to ‘E’ or drops altogether. I think there could potentially be an issue with my device as I have friends that use EE and they dont seem to have any problems.
thanks

Hi @DomTee,
I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Care so our Tech Gurus can run through some diagnostics with you.
They'll be happy to help. 🙂
Thanks
