Mobile Data Boost for Broadband Upgrade

F1rew4ll
Explorer

Hi EE community,
I am on 1GB data mobile plan since 5-6 years.  2 years ago started EE fibre broadband 12mth contract. I clamed 5GB data boost as per offer . In April this year I upgraded my EE fibre broadband due to contract expires. The new broadband offer said about 5GB  boost.
I got another 5GB last month and I had 11GB data. This month I have been told that only once I can get a boost from the broadband and they left me 6GB.
What is actually right?

Then you get only 1 5GB data boost at any 1 time making a total of 6GB data. You don't get a 5GB data boost for every BB contract you take out. They are not cumulative. A new BB contract & boost cancels the old ones & replaces them.

Mobile data boost for home broadband customers :

if you've changed your broadband plan, your current mobile data boost will need to be removed before we can add your new one.

@F1rew4ll  You should only received one 5gig data boost and they don’t add them up when you take out a new contract.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I read it that you upgraded you mobile plan itself to 6GB & you expect a further 5GB Data Boost from your BB contract, making a total of 11GB data on your mobile.

I believe that as you upgraded your mobile plan to 6GB after your April BB upgrade you are not eligible for a Data Boost to this 6GB plan, only to the previous 1GB plan. You need to have the mobile plan already or at the same time as taking the new BB contract.

No no, I did not upgrade my Mobile plan, My Mobile plan is as it is 1GB. The first 5GB booster to my Mobile plan was 2 years ago when signed in 12mth broadband contract. Then it expired in April this year, so I signed in another 12mth contract with the same offer 5gb boost to your Mobile plan.
