Hi all, hope everyone is safe after this traumatic time. I have bought a Huawei E5785 mobile Wi-Fi because now, and again we go away in our caravan and there is either chargeable internet access, weak or none. I don't want to do monthly as it would be a waste of money don't need to download just use this Mi-Fi for Wi-Fi connection for Wi-Fi calling. Not only that, but I've got a PAYG SIM, can I use this once it's activated, and can you just add data without anything else?

Yes you can use PAYG SIM, it's not the cheapest option, but look into buying a Data Add On Pack etc.

It will all be about how much Data you think you are going to need or use etc, another Option would be to buy a Pre Loaded Data SIM.

I'm using a Huawei E57b5, with a connection at least you can use your phone with Wi-Fi calling and check anything else.

I've just bought a £20 PAYG SIM, I can always buy data when needed without a monthly contract, but I'm not downloading or streaming it just so I can use my phone tablet etc.

I'm a bit confused by your answers. I'm talking about the phone you are making calls from, not the mobile router. That doesn't do calls anyway.

No I have wifi calling on my phone, provided you have a wifi connection which is why you use the Mifi because you then don't need to use any secure or public wifi
