So, who knows when my iPhone 12 will get delivered, but my question is what will EE be charging me after 23.10.20.
That was the day my existing contract ended. No word on a delivery so how much. Clearly not the new contract price. But as the new contract is cheaper?
But ... surely it can’t be the full cost of a contract that has now ended.

These contracts don't just end, just the min. term expires. They are not fixed term contracts. After the min. term they just carry on at the same price on a rolling 30-days' notice basis until you explicitly cancel or upgrade.

But, my contract has ended as I have upgraded in advance of the contract end date. My point is what am I going to be charged in this period between the end of my contract and the delivery of my new phone whenever that might be. Obviously it is already late.

Ah, you never told us you were doing an upgrade. You'll be charged the old contract price until new phone is delivered & new contract price thereafter.

Not sure you read my first post accurately.
That’s manifestly unfair, it is EE who are failing to honour the contract through failure to deliver. The new contract is cheaper than the existing one.

I am!
It'll only be a matter of days pro-rata.

Ah! So you are saying the failure of EE to deliver allows them to continue charging extra, even if for a few days. If indeed it is only a few days?

How else can it work? You can't start paying for the new contract until the new contract starts. You're not being charged extra. You are being charged for your current contract as per agreement,
Take it up with CS about the delay in delivery of your new contract.

I shall take this up with CS as clearly it is wrong to be charged more when first, I should being paying less and two it is EE who are in default not me.
By the way, why isn’t there a thumbs down button?
I have to say I don’t think your answers have made me feel at all happy with the whole EE experience.

Sorry, you haven't heard what you want to hear. I don't represent EE. I'm just a user like you.
