Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?
Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)
My theory is that they have a pile of iPads and they are processing them in date and time order.
I think the ones that we managed to order yesterday / today, we’re cancellations..they will probably be processed last, but hopefully from stock that is spare
Looks like everything is (back) on track, my EE order page now shows despatched, my DPD app has its delivery slot booked, and the plan has appeared in the MyEE app 🙂
just to let you know I called EE this morning regarding my changed ipad order that was supposed to arrive today…obviously this was a mistake and I got a £30 for being mislead.
ive been told by Simon Leonard of EE that normal stock levels of all ipads should be in place no later than 7 days..I.e. 2nd June.
Based on this, I cut my losses and changed to the lovely 1tb iPad Pro 12.9!
Good choice on the 1TB model, you'll get 16GB of RAM, rather than the standard 8GB.
I'm just going to wait it out for now, if my 1TB model arrives first, I'm going to **try** and give it a week for the 2TB model to arrive and use that one instead, then send back the 1TB. We shall see if I have the will power 🙂 I'll honestly be super happy with either.
I'll update here once I get a notification from DPD.
Apparently, my order from yesterday is waiting to be picked and I was asked if I don't hear anything later to call them back tomorrow. God knows what has happened to my original order from the 30/4.
I'm not sure I can face any more terrible hold music though, haha. Will keep you posted if I hear anything.
