Ipad Pro 5G

Hi All,

Only a quick one...

Just didn't know if anyone had started receiving any information around the processing &/or shipping of their Ipad Pro 5G pre-orders that they had made yet?

Just for reference and comparison, I have ordered the 12.9 Pro 256GB on 30/4 at 1:21pm (when the website actually loaded showing the 5G's as order-able! 🙂)

@Captaincocouk Sorry taken a while to reply!  My expected delivery date on EE is still showing as Awaiting Confirmation.

DPD app has now updated to show parcel received from EE.

I was a little late, 14:18 as I was waiting for a callback. I figured there would be less demand for the 1TB model. I also thought the same for the 2TB model I ordered today, but that still has the initial "Your Pre-Order is confirmed". I was told today it would arrive tomorrow, I'm obviously not holding out much hope now.

I think the most frustrating part is the unknown. If they had a date range on the orders, it would be much more helpful. I don't mind waiting, but obviously don't want to wait weeks/months.

I was assured on my original order that EE is the largest 3rd party supplier in the UK and would have plenty of stock. I know there are certain stock issues with the 12.9", but I would have expected to get it on launch day having ordered pre-ordered on the 30th.

Got an email saying it's coming tomorrow (12.9' Space Grey 128GB).

My order for the Silver 12.9 256GB I ordered yesterday under the premise of it being 'in stock' hasn't moved today at all - so will call and cancel that tomorrow.

My original order for the Grey 12.9 256GB I pre-ordered on 30/4 13:18 is what's now being delivered tomorrow.

I'm not complaining that it's coming by saying this next bit, but I was told on the phone earlier this afternoon they were out of stock of all 12.9's.

Even with the uncertainty, I’m glad I changed from a 128gb to 256gb….if mine doesn’t come tomorrow, I’ll probably change for a 2TB and it will get here when it gets here…

I think they are slowly working their way through all the pre orders now…a few on this chat have had their dpd updates, I imagine you’ll get your 1TB pretty soon!

Yeah, it's frustrating that depending on who you talk to you get a different answer from EE. Whatever arrives first I'll keep and then cancel the other one.

I keep refreshing the DPD app, haha. Hopefully, we all get our iPad's soon 😀
