Incorrect insertion of sim card

I doubt anyone has been as stupid as me, but in a hurry today, I absent mindedly inserted a SIM card into my Samsung tablet without first putting it in its "carrier". Needless to say I can't get it out. Any suggestions?

How stuck is it? Is it sticking out at all?

Pushed fully in. I think I could have got out if I didn't push fully in
without looking!!
