So ive been waiting for my iPhone 12 Pro 256gb Pacific blue since order being confirmed on 29th October, so yeah a little longer than the 21 days expected delivery, and all of a sudden by contract plan has changed to what my iPhone is (unlimited data etc) spammed with plenty of texts about service changes etc.
So in my excited thinking today's the day I find out if my new phones on its way, I can no longer track it on th
e "what's new" section on my ee app, or on my online account. Is this normal? A bug? If anything it's more than ever now I'd actually want to be able to track the device if it is in fact on its way, any thoughts guys?

This definitely sounds like your order is progressing and will be with you shortly.
Once your phone is with DPD you will receive further tracking information.
