I lose my data but don't stream

Hi, I get 4mb end of month and by the 4th it's down to 550mg . I don't game, stream or spend every second on internet. What could be causing this , eg . Someone else downloading, unknown apps , etc.

iOS & Android phones have a data counter in the connections setting menu that will itemise your data usage down to individual apps and enable you to find the cause of issues such as this.

 

The exact location of this option will vary, but it will be under the data connections menus.

@Traceyjohnstone   What do you use your device for apart from calls/texts ?  

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

Hi @Traceyjohnstone ,

 

It's typically social media and auto-streaming of videos which causes this.

 

There may also be background downloads or updates so I would recommend to keep mobile data disabled, when you are not actively using it, to reduce this happening.
