I Was over charged for a handset in store !

I visited the Basingstoke EE Store on the 20th of December 2020 and was purchasing my daughter a phone , we chose the oppo A53 I was told this was £99 pounds , I said yes to buying to them be told it was £149 pounds but they hadn’t yet changed the price over as there was a offer on that phone and it’s now ended so I agreed to pay the £149 and 10 pounds top up to which it totalled up to £159 they didn’t put the sim back into the SIM card pack after activating this for me so when my daughter opened this Christmas Day there was no sim . Today I contacted EE and someone very helpful ordered a new sim for the phone and I told him about my experience in store he checked with digital sales about the price of the phone and told me they had over charged me for the device at least 45-50 pounds difference in what I should have paid .. now I can’t get hold of anyone to enquire about this . The lady that dealt with us was a girl named Jess in store and she had to keep asking the manager for help . I am very very annoyed about this .

Hi @Roxylloyd

Welcome to the community.

I'd recommend getting in touch with the store where you took the contract out. You can book an appointment on the EE store finder.

Let us know how you get on.

It’s pay as you go phone and I have tried calling but no one answers it’s so frustrating 🤦🏼‍♀️

Did you try booking a phone appointment on the link I posted, @Roxylloyd?
